After months sometimes years of planning, it’s nearly time for your big day. The suppliers are all confirmed, your dress is ready, the RSVP’s are in and all that’s left to do is to show up right? . Not quite. Two weeks before your wedding is likely to be a tad hectic with some last minute tasks to get through but don’t fret! Luckily after years and years of planning weddings, we have got it covered.

Here are just a few reminders of last minute things to do

1)      Test Drive The Full Look

You will need to pick up your dress, but don’t just stop there. Try on the full ensemble, including shoes and jewelry . Practice that walk down the aisle and makes sure everything looks and feels comfortable. Protip: Try going to the bathroom in your dress as well!

2)      Break in your Shoes

They are brand new and you will be wearing them for a long time on the big day. Wear them for a short period of time each day around the house and walk around on a few different surfaces.

3)      Clear your Work To-Do List

Take care of any big projects or assignments at work early so that you don’t have to-do list of work tasks floating around in your head. Work is the last thing you want to be thinking about as you head into your Wedding.

4)      Finalize the Seating Plan

Most of the RSVP’s should be in by now, so sit down with your spouse to be and finalize the seating arrangements. Be sure to send a copy to your Wedding Co-Ordinator.

5)      Speeches

If there are a couple of people who are reading a little something special to you and your significant other at the Wedding Reception check in with them and confirm. You can also let them know the time frame.

6)      Meet with your Wedding Co-Ordinator

Meet with your Wedding Co-Ordinator a few days before your Wedding to go through any last minute details

7)      Submit your Final Shot List

Send this off to your photographer and designate a family member or member of the wedding party to regularly check in with your photographer on the wedding day.

8)      Get plenty of Sleep

Try to crawl into bed a little earlier than usual the week before your Wedding. The more rest you get, the better. Once the wedding activities start, it may be harder to wrap your arms around a solid night’s sleep.

 9)      Enjoy your Wedding Day

Enjoy every minute of your Wedding Day. The day goes so fast and it is so important to make the most of every second enjoying the biggest day of your life with family and friends.
