35 Years in Business at Springfort Hall Hotel
You can still find it and not so far away, Springfort Hall, an 18th Century Manor house, tucked away on a spacious estate which dates back to Norman Times, is only 6km from Mallow but to enter its gates is to leave behind the noise and bustle of today and rediscover the delights of leisure living.
The Walsh Family purchased Springfort Hall from an American gentleman names Tony Dilliard. At that time the Country House had 8 bedrooms, they then opened a Restaurant doing approximately 30 covers at the start. At that time they had a domestic kitchen with 2 domestic ovens in the center of the kitchen. Mrs. Walsh and Paul did a lot of the cooking and then when it became busier they employed a chef.
The Walsh Family ventured into the Wedding market, they built the Banquet Hall 30 years ago and they have hosted 2,500 weddings since then. Small wonder then that Springfort Hall is in much demand for Weddings. The Walsh Family have vast experience of co ordinating this most important of events , ensuring that all goes as smoothly and as happily as any couple could wish, while never forgetting the warm personal touch that makes such a difference . The old world Banqueting Hall fully decorated for a formal wedding party is a sight to behold indeed, staff are attentive to your every need and the gardens provide a beautiful back drop for pictures and wll the Bridal Suite, it will simply take your breath away.
